The coolant hose passing though the air valve also passes though the Idle control valve body (below the throttle body), why is this? This is the only thing thats stopping me from completely removing all of the coolant hoses.Ĭan i just remove all of the hoses or should i leave the part that passes through the idle control valve? Though there is 1 thing im not very sure of: When googling around it seems that these air valves tend to fail, I have a ms2 so therefor im very tempted to just remove the air valve. ![]() I had this as long as i can remember.Īfter rethinking the whole thing i think this might be coming from the air valve that my 1992 1.6 has. I can tune it very nicely one moment but then the next day, or even the same day but a couple hours later. my idle is pretty nice when it comes to stability in the revs, though my AFR is all over the place. Though i notice something that i always had little issues with. ![]() Its been a while since ive been on here but sometimes life requires you to reprioritize a little haha.Īnyway, my mx5 is driving again after changing my injection system to sequential.
